Things To Bring
Summertime: Cap, visor or inexpensive sun
glasses; bathing suit or shorts and a T-shirt; sun screen; old tennis shoes,
aqua socks, or sport sandals; towel and a change of clothes for after the
trip.
Spring and Fall: It will be a much more
enjoyable experience for you if you are dressed for the weather. Cotton is a
poor insulator when wet. (And you will get wet.) Don't wear it, or you will be
cold. Wool, polypropylene, nylon and other synthetics are good. A nylon wind
breaker, or rain gear is also a good idea. Wool socks, cap and gloves are
recommended on cold days. Wet suits and
splash tops are available for rent and are
recommended on cooler days-$13.99 and $6.00 respectively or $17 for both. We
also sell appropriate gear in our pro shop.
